Why room parents switch
No ads in front of families
Your sign-up looks clean and trustworthy — nothing to explain to the class.
English & Spanish
Families see sheets, cards and chip-ins in their phone’s language automatically.
Gift money without chasing
Families pledge and pay you directly. You see who paid and copy a polite reminder for the rest.
Paper backup
Print a QR flyer for the classroom door or a paper version for families without smartphones.
A typical room-parent year
- September: send the classroom volunteer and snack sheets in the first class email. Families sign up from one link and get reminders.
- Fall: the class party sheet fills itself; capacity limits mean no six bags of chips.
- Teacher appreciation week: one sheet for daily treats, plus a teacher gift collection with a thank-you card every family signs.
- June: end-of-year party and the last card. Duplicate any sheet next year with one click.
Questions
What is a room parent?
A parent volunteer who helps a teacher organize the class: parties, snack schedules, volunteers, field trip chaperones and the end-of-year teacher gift.
Do other parents need an account?
No. They open your link, tap a slot or write a message, and they are done. Families whose phones are set to Spanish see everything in Spanish.
How do I collect money for the teacher gift without chasing people?
Use the teacher gift template: families pledge an amount and pay you directly through your own Venmo, PayPal or Cash App. You see who pledged and who paid, and you can copy a friendly reminder for the ones who have not.
Can I print something for the classroom door?
Yes. Every sheet has a printable QR flyer, and every template has a paper version.
Is it really free?
Yes. No ads, no fees on contributions, no account.
