How we chose
We looked for tools where (1) group date polls are free, (2) people can answer from a link without an account and (3) it works on a phone. Facts come from each tool’s own pages, checked October 25, 2026, unless a footnote says otherwise. We make SignUpSheet.page, so it is listed first and labeled.

The options
1. SignUpSheet.pageOurs
Best for: simple date polls with no caps, no ads and no accounts.
Add up to 200 dates or times; people answer yes, maybe or no and the best option is highlighted. Finalize the winner and everyone who left an email gets it with Google Calendar and .ics buttons. The same site runs sign-up sheets and group cards, in 15 languages.
Watch out for: no calendar connection, no booking pages, and everyone sees who voted what.
2. Rallly
Best for: Doodle-style polls from an open-source project.
The free plan allows up to 3 open polls at a time with unlimited participants, and participants need “no login”.[3] Rallly says its polls have no ads and up to 100 options, and that without signing up you can keep 1 poll open.[2] You can host it yourself, and its community has translated it into 10+ languages.[7] Pro costs about $6 per seat a month, billed yearly.[3]
Watch out for: on the free plan, polls are deleted when all their dates are more than 30 days past and there has been no activity for 30 days.[3]
3. When2meet
Best for: finding any free hour across a week, popular with students.
It calls itself “a free survey tool”.[4] Everyone marks the hours they are free on a grid, and you see where they overlap. No account is needed.[5]
Watch out for: WhenAvailable, a competing scheduler, says When2meet “doesn’t work well on mobile phones” and has no reminders or calendar connection.[5] Try it with two or three people first.
4. Calendly Meeting Polls
Best for: people who already schedule work meetings with Calendly.
Polls take up to 40 time slots and 40 participants, and “anyone with the poll link can submit votes—even without a Calendly account”.[6] The free plan includes 1 event type and 1 calendar connection; Standard is $10 per seat a month, billed yearly.[8]
Watch out for: you can’t add time slots after publishing the poll,[6] and the organizer needs a Calendly account. Calendly lists Meeting Polls for all plans, noting that features “may vary based on your plan”.[6]
When Doodle is still the right choice
Doodle still makes sense if you want booking pages, 1:1 scheduling and calendar connections in one place, or integrations such as Microsoft Teams, Webex and Zapier on paid plans.[1] Paid plans also remove ads and can hide participants from each other.[1]
