SignUpSheet.page vs SignUp.com

We make SignUpSheet.page, so we are not neutral. We have tried to be fair: every fact about SignUp.com links to a source we checked on October 25, 2026, we say where SignUp.com is the better choice, and we write “couldn’t verify” instead of guessing.

The short version
  • SignUp.com is a long-running sign-up tool for schools, teams and volunteer groups. Participants sign up without creating an account or password,[1] and organizers can collect money through their own Stripe or PayPal account.[2]
  • Its free plan shows ads; removing them is a paid add-on at $9.99 a month or $99 a year.[3][4]
  • SignUpSheet.page has no ads, no organizer account and works in 15 languages. SignUp.com has apps, tiers for larger programs and more ways to pay inside a sign-up.

Choose SignUp.com if…

  • you want participants to pay inside the sign-up by card, bank, PayPal or Venmo, through your own Stripe or PayPal account[2]
  • you want iPhone and Android apps[4]
  • you run a big program and need multiple organizers, hours tracking or waivers (Premium plans)[5]
  • you are a US 501(c)(3) nonprofit that can use the lower card rate (from 2.2% + $0.30)[2]

Choose SignUpSheet.page if…

  • you want no ads without paying for an add-on
  • you want to skip creating an organizer account
  • your families or volunteers speak different languages
  • you also want a date poll, a group card or a gift chip-in

Where SignUp.com is better

  • Payments inside the sign-up. Participants can pay by card, bank transfer, PayPal or Venmo, and US 501(c)(3) nonprofits get a lower card rate.[2] Our chip-in links people to your own payment apps; there is no card checkout and no nonprofit rate.
  • Apps. SignUp.com has iPhone and Android apps.[4] We don’t.
  • Tools for larger programs. Premium plans add multiple organizers, volunteer hours tracking and waivers.[5] Our Group plan covers co-organizers, a group page and volunteer hours, but there are no waivers, and custom questions are short text answers only (up to 10 per sheet).
  • Track record. SignUp.com has 399 reviews on Capterra averaging 4.8 out of 5.[4] SignUpSheet.page is new and has no reviews there yet.

Where SignUpSheet.page is different

  • No ads, without an add-on. Nobody you invite sees an ad, and you don’t pay to remove them.
  • No organizer account. Create the sheet with just your email; we send you a private organizer link.
  • 15 languages. A Spanish-speaking parent sees the sheet in Spanish, a Korean-speaking parent in Korean, from the same link.
  • A card and a collection on one link. A farewell card or teacher gift can have a chip-in, so people sign and pay in one place.

What SignUp.com users say

Moving a sign-up from SignUp.com

  1. List the slots on your SignUp.com sign-up, with dates, times and how many people each needs.
  2. Start from a matching template, such as volunteer or snack, and add the same slots.
  3. Share the new link with your group and close the old sign-up so nobody signs up twice.
  4. Keep the organizer link we email you. To share the work, send it to a co-organizer: anyone with that link can manage the sheet.
